Dare to Lead™

Dare to Lead™ coaching and workshops are your pathway to becoming a daring leader, to face uncertainty and change through four empirically-based, teachable, measurable, and observable skill sets of courage.

  1. RUMBLING WITH VULNERABILITY

    • The willingness to step into discomfort: our ability to be daring leaders is never greater than our ability to face and engage risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure.

  2. LIVING INTO OUR VALUES

    • Identifying and practicing the values that shape who we are: our ability to use those core values to help us navigate difficult choices and situations.

  3. BRAVING TRUST

    • Cultivating relationships with others based on trust: our ability to mend or deepen our connections with others through seven elements of trust.

  4. LEARNING TO RISE

    • Resetting after failures, setbacks, and disappointments: our ability to recognize our emotions, discern the truth of what happened, learn from it, and use

As a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, trained by Brené Brown in 2019, I support leaders to create courageous cultures through keynotes, workshops, and coaching programs.

Available virtually and in person.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 24-hour Dare to Lead program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put a Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

The 4 Stages of Psychological Safety™

After a multi-year study of high-performing teams, Google found that psychological safety is the primary predictor of team performance.

Based on the research of Dr. Timothy R. Clark, the 4 Stages of Psychological Safety offers you a clear and actionable framework for understanding how to enable your people to perform at their highest levels.

The secret of this program is its focus on four progressive stages of psychological safety and our ability to answer four key questions:

1: INCLUSION SAFETY

  • How do I help my team feel included and show up as their authentic selves?

2: LEARNER SAFETY

  • How do I help my team feel safe to learn, make mistakes, and find their own solutions?

3: CONTRIBUTOR SAFETY

  • How do I help my team feel safe enough to contribute, add value, and make a difference?

4: CHALLENGER SAFETY

  • How do I help my team feel safe to challenge our status quo, innovate, and make things better?

Through keynotes, half-day workshops, or one-on-one coaching, you will learn how to model and reward vulnerability, improve their relationships in any social situation, and increase the psychological safety of your team.

Available virtually and in person.

Team Development

One of the most powerful tools for initiating or sustaining organizational change is bringing people together for a shared experience and the opportunity to hear each other’s voices.

Through hour-long keynotes or interactive workshops, I partner with you and your team to set the context and ground conditions for successful change. Together, we will offer your team new ideas and a common language, foster a sense of shared purpose, and provide an opportunity for people to have their voices heard.

FAQS

  • The focus is on you and your team actively learning together.

Expect 80 to 90 percent of the session will involve you and your team unpacking, exploring, developing, and creating your own version of the content that is most useful to you.

TLDR: I will create a space where you and your team actively explore new ideas and new ways of engaging with each other.

  • It depends on the needs of your organization, the scope and scale of the workshop, and your desired outcomes. Those needs will drive the length of the session(s), number of participants, discovery and development process, tools and resources we will use, and follow-up work.

Without clarity and insight into your needs and goals, I can’t offer a generic pricing index.

That said, I never want price to get in the way of doing good work with good people. So if you feel like I could help you and your team achieve your goals, please book time for us to connect and explore what working together might look like.

  • If you don’t have an immediate sense of which workshop will be most useful for you and your team, don’w worrk. You don’t have to know alone!

Schedule time with me and we can explore what would best fit you and your team. Part of my passion in this work is crafting and delivering workshops built around an individual team’s growth edges. If I don’t already have something built that meets your needs, we can always build one together.

  • Ideally, we would have at least 1-3 months between when we start talking and when you hope to have a workshop. The final number depends on how extensive the development process need to be.

However, if you have a pressing need, please reach out and I can let you know what my availability is and what’s possible with the timeline we have.

  • It happens every time.

Resistance and reticence are great opportunities to get curious about why folks might not want to participate or what they think the workshop will be. There are bound to be people who are less than excited to be in a session, but I’ve found that having content that they make personally relevant in combination with experiential learning usually brings folks around.
